First in vigor is hte name of the game. No need to call of your chips with a hand you are surely behind.

first in Vigor with an M < 3 ?but, yeah, I'd fold here.Close though.your stack can still make the BB fold next hand, and maybe youll get something all little better.also, never underestimate the chance that two others tangle and you slide into the money.We all like to push like Harrington tells us; but at sometables, enough action happens that you can back into the money; and with stacks where they are, that could happen here, espcially if they are calling the pushes more often than not

that's what I hear.Maybe too tight according to proxy quotes I hear..but no 1st hand info.After reading I probably misapplied some HOH2 ideas and was pushing slightly too hard to early in STT's. Whereas before I always just prayed others would knock each other out.somewhere in between is where I hope to land

I think Harrington's advice is fairly solid, but a little too tight. I think it can't be too much of a mistake playing overly tight (you won't lose much equity), whereas playing too loose can be very harmful.I was actually disppointed that his section on bubble play dealt exclusively with hand ranges for calling an allin. He does not give any examples of, say, what to do on the button with QJ or A6 and high blinds if it is folded to you. His ranges for calling allin make for serious strategy changes, so I would expect that normal strategy would be affected significantly as well.I believe it is somewhat of a glaring error to have a full chapter on bubble play and only consider one small aspect of it....but that boys and girls, is a story for another thread.
