Raise preflop, raise the flop, bet the turn, bet the river. You played that very passive.

Yeah, if you're scared of aces, then 3-bet him preflop. If he caps, you can pretty reliably narrow down the range of hands he has to about four (Even fish don't usually cap unless they have something huge or are obviously maniacs/nutbarring it up)--aces, kings, maybe queens, MAYBE AK, and proceed from there. As you played it, though, you're still scared of the aces, but the odds are pretty good he doesn't have them (As he could raise with a variety of hands).

You need to threebet this all day and every dayFlop: (14 SB) 8c, 6d, 3c (7 players)SB bets, MP3 calls, woutoR calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.Hmm trashy flop, someone might have hit there set, and im starting to think MP1 got AA so I dont reraise himwrong again. You can't always be scared of AATurn: (14 BB) 2h (7 players)SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, MP3 calls, woutoR calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds.Anouther bet from him I deside to call this down since the pot is getting bigagain, you need to raise. A pot is never "big enough". start raising. This is one horribly played pair of kingsRiver: (20 BB) 2d (6 players)SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP3 checks, woutoR bets, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP3 calls.Suddenly with this river everybody checks and im last to act so I bet and everybody folds except one ????????this is the only thing ou did right. You cost yourself many bets by playing this so passivly. Stop being Afraid of AA everytime it gets raised early and you have KK. If you keep on acting like this I can make a tinfoil hat for you if you'd likeFinal Pot: 22 BBSeat 4: Joeboy04 mucked [8h Qc]Seat 6: woutoR (button) showed [Kh Kc] and won ($2.20) with two pair, Kings and Deuces :!:  :!:

i don't mean to flame, but that was a fairly terribly played KK.if you don't three-bet pre-flop with kings, is AA the only hand you three-bet with? you're afraid MP1 has aces? is that the only thing people are capable of raising with pre-flop?i'm guessing you play a very tight/passive (aka weak-tight) style of poker, and you need to change that fast. you're losing out on so much money and people are probably running you over.aseem

I agree assem, the OP did everything to lose this hand that he could think of. I'm not trying to rag on you left and right OP, but playing scared is just bad poker everyway you cut it. Start reading the strategy blog that WRTO, AllinBluff, Punnisher, and I do. Also don't be afraid to keep on posting your hands in here. ou may get ripped to shreds if you play a hand real bad, but that's how you learn
