You'd be giving a free card to a flush too often.

I guess a better question would be, "If i'm bet into on the river, do I fold or call?"

Do you know the player your against? There'd only be 8.25BB there if he bets on the river... so its 1-8 odds if im not mistaken.Taking that into account, can you beat whatever he has 1 in 8 times? Maybe he's betting on his ace? He checked the river, after that check I'd feel safe I was against an ace high hand. I still woudln't bet it... Calling if bet into on the river here... I guess if I dont know anything about my opponent... With him checking the whole way and betting on the river I'd be confused to say the least, I might fold the hand. Then again... 1-8 odds on your call there, his possible hand holdings are what?AK, AQ (doubtful), A-x, Overpair to you 9's?What else were you thinking at the end WRTO?

I think you'd have to call. He very well could be trying to push a weak hand thourgh and get you off of it with the scare cards out there. You have to be correct once every nine times to break even.
