This week, due to some technical difficulties, the 20k and 40k rebuy tournaments were changed to 10k and 20k freezeouts. I, for one, think this is fantastic and wish these tournaments would stay as freeezeouts and/or more guaranteed freezeout tournaments were added to the site. Please post here with your thoughts. Do you agree/disagree? Why or why not?

My reasons are, while I enjoy rebuys on occasion, I strongly prefer freezeouts because they cost less overall, run for a shorter amount of time and rebuy tourneys are compeltely different, strategywise. Again, my vote is for the guaranteed freezeouts to stay. Discuss...

100% agree with cfinnn. I will only play freezeout tourneys and although I haven't played many I do plan on playing a lot more. I will not play in re-buys!!!!

I play mostly limit HE, but on my rare forays into NL tourneys it really has to be a freezeout. I just can't deal with the crazies trying to double up with any 2 cards in a rebuy.

I definitely agree, freezeouts are better (imo). I'm more concerned about time and this is what I normally play rather than rebuys.

I love having unlimited rebuy tourneys with bigger prize pools, and think we should keep them.

That being said, the site could use freezeouts with guarenteed prize pools as well, and they should seriously consider adding them.

I also would like more freezeout tourneys but the reson online sights love the rebuys is the money. Look at the numbers, for whatever reason the rebuys attract more players and not just the gaureentees either. The $5 and $10 rebuys draw more than their freezeout counterparts. It's weird but true.

But these are not necessarily competing audiences. I rarely play rebuys but would definitely play the freezeouts, and I am sure I'm not alone. The site would make even more money by simply adding some bigger guaranteed freezeout tourneys. That's what I miss the most playing on FCP as opposed to other sites.
