spinnuh 0
ok so lets say im playing in a no limt game and i have king jack suited and lets say the blinds are 50 cents and 1 dollar and someone raises to 2 dollars and u call and the flop is something like jack 4 8... you bet 2 dollars and someone raises you to 5 dollars... to find out if you have the best hand or not what would be the best thing to do... But, that's just me, what do I know???
Swift_Psycho 1
Avoid calling a raise pre-flop with K-J.
Dhall901 0
I'd smooth call and see how he feels about it on the turn. Mighta flopped a set, might just be tryin to steal it from you. Gotta know the type of player he is.
Wilderness 0
Avoid calling a raise pre-flop with K-J.My thoughts exactly.Once you've seen the flop, perhaps you are ahead of an unimproved AK or AQ but you're dominated by AJ and behind to a high PP. TPTK is a good way to go broke if you keep staying in after being raised/re-raised. But in this case, once you're on the flop, I'd suggest calling and betting out as long as a Q or A doesn't come on the turn and see what he does. If he re-raises there too, just give it up.
