Is This A Resteal?

Recommended Posts

I need to learn how to re-steal. I don't think I have ever re-raised a late position open raise unless I felt the hand had raising value (AK, QQ, etc). In the last few weeks I have read 3 times the excellent thread on re-stealing, so I am aware of the move, but need some more work before I try it.Now onto the hand in question; final table of the Golf Tournament weekend, and the table is full of good players, and I am now in 4th position of 6 remaining. I have not had a real hand for about 6 orbits, but have been able to tread water with 3 successful steals until this hand comes along…Table 'Harbin': 20-20 No Limit HE (TournamentChips)Seat 0: jawa_lives (32,958 in chips) Seat 2: hitbythedec0 (13,580 in chips) Seat 3: monixc (14,100 in chips) (on the button)Seat 6: MoChipsPlese (15,157 in chips) Seat 8: vvganeshavv0 (8,615 in chips) Seat 9: smcgolfer (23,590 in chips) *** Blind Bet Round *** : Dealt to monixc: 4sDealt to monixc: AdMoChipsPlese : Post Blind (500)vvganeshavv0 : Post Blind (1,000)*** Pre-Flop *** : Dealt to monixc: 4s Adsmcgolfer : Foldjawa_lives : Foldhitbythedec0 : Foldmonixc : Bet (2,500)MoChipsPlese : Foldvvganeshavv0 : Raise (5,000)monixc : ????

no way is this a spot for a resteal. Shes risked nearly 60% of his stack and you have no fold equity unless hes a complete donk.
FYP... i think.and not a donk... positive.sorry... havent really added anything intelligent to this thread but whatever.
