showstopper24 0
Being from Cleveland, I think Travis Hafner is one of the best hitters in the MLB. I'd say he is the best DH after Ortiz. He is very underated and I compare him to Allen Cunningham. Many hardcore baseball fans and people from Cleveland will know Hafner's name like many hardcore poker fans know Cunningham. Also Hafner is respected by the pros and many were mad he wasn't in the all star game. Cunningham won best player under 35 bye his peers.

wsox8 10
put this in baseball next time ..I like Thome over Hafner though. But yes I think Hafner is underrated especially because the AL central is stacked with talent.

showstopper24 0
I thought that he deserved to be in the All star game, even if he was just picked by the manager.

Hafner is with the elite guys though, no doubt. He is so tough to pitch too because of his plate coverage and he can hit to all fields. He seems like a quiet guy that just goes about his business. Cleveland teams have been medicocre which may be why he is not well known.
