Scanner313 0
I'm in the Pittsburgh "area". About 45 minutes North of Pitts. I would travel somewhat to get into some tourneys, decent home games.

It's not loading when I try to pull it up.Yes, papoker.com has taken over all the tournies that they ran.I sent you a PM, to be honest, my home game might not be worth the 45 mins + drive, but the Friday games in SF would probably be. Are you planning to? Do you know if you have to "know someone" to get into them? I'm assuming that unless these games are fronted by some charity or something that they don't exactly allow people to walk in off the street. As for your home game, it doesn't sound bad. I'm not looking for huge stakes here, just somewhere to play where I have a shot to win $50+ bucks for a few hours of play. Sound like the top prize in your tourney would be at least $100 or so?Anyway, when you find out more about the firehall deal, definitely let me know. I'd appreciate it! I'd appreciate it!I have played in the fire hall one. Once, about a month ago. You can just walk in. It's benefits the VFD. It was 33 people that week, but that was the lowest they've had. When my buddy played a few month ago, there was like 80some. They also have side SnG games ($40, I think) going on before and after the main tourney. We had 8 last night so it was 70/10. Usually 2nd gets money back. When 13-14, I'll do 10/20/the rest.

Also, do you know what time they start? I have some buddies who would probably be up for this a couple times a month. I'm definitely interested.I'm guessing that 1st place prize would be somewhere in the $1000 range if they got about 80 people? Thanks!

The address that I gave you is 100% correct.http://www.oakridgefd.com/
Scanner313 0
Thanks fryer. I found it.By the way, you probably already know this site, but if not there is a decent site for locating tournaments and home games in th Pittsburgh area. It's http://www.homepokergames.com/.It would be nice if they'd delete off the old crap, but it doesn't seem they have any intention of doing that, so ...Later!
