I was recently playing in a $10 dollar buy-in NL Texas Holdem Tournywe started w/ 11 players and i made it to the final 4i was third in chips ($16.00) and got dealt A
10
I raised $5.00 preflop and got one caller (Player A ($12.00 but after call has $7.00)The flop came 9
10
7
i bet $5.00 ... Player A pondered awhile and then went all in.. which made me have to call another $2.00I figured i had good enough pot odds and calledPlayer A had 8
5
Turn: 4
River: J
 Catches straight on river!!!!TWO HANDS LATER... im short stack at $7get dealt A
Q
go all inget caller ( Player B $19) he flips over K
9
FLop comes 6,9,2, turn 4, river 10. (suits didnt matter)im gone losing to a pair of nines...MY QUESTION... did i play these hands right? ANy advice?

Giving the blinds and what position u were in would be nice, but i will try without them. First hand...well...nevermind i need the blinds and position, but for the most part the first raise is bad.

i wouldnt consider these hands bad beats. ive lost to tons of OESD all ins and AQ vs K9 is definitely not a bad beat, you're only gonna win about 60% of the time

As a general rule, don't post bad beats in the General Poker section. And neither of these hands are really terrible beats anyway, you just got mildly unlucky, which happens to all of us on a daily basis. I don't think either of your hands was played poorly though. They just caught their cards.
