Fold with little or no regret. If the BB thinks he's got it, let him try. no reason to possibly cripple yourself to 3rd by finishing last in the hand. You still havethe chip lead if the button wins, he triples to 105, BB goes to 145, you have 195. Just fold it and go on. BB wins, you trail by 55k out of 445k. Not bad position to be in.

...if you think the guy is any kind of good player. You'd think he's just call, and do the gentlemen's check-check-check maneuver to get third place outta there...unless he had AA, KK, or AK. Folding's okay.

I'd most likely fold unless big blind is an aggressive player. Preflop I'd reraise (I wouldn't want to put myself in your position). In that case if the big blind moves all in, I'd be commited (I'd do this is because at worst I'd think it's a fifty fity scenerio and I wouldn't want the bb making moves on me putting me in doubt). The thing is when you call 35k all in as a chip leader, you're really not saying much for your hand. Basically what you're saying is I have an ace and want to try to knock this guy out. There are a range of hands now that the bb could go all in with from Ace jack to middle to high pockets. For the most part, it's kind of a heads up situation now since you really don't have to worry about a third place finish and you have a chance to knowck two people out in one hand (it's still possible though). Would you call an all in bet heads up with ak?

Tough decision all round.I think the call is fine, as opposed to the raise, at this stage nothing wrong with wanting to get the SS out and get HU with the other guy. His all in is a strange bet as I would have thought he would want the same thing. I could only assume (without knowing what kind of player he is) that he has high PP. I think I'd fold in this spot and keep around the 200k mark. What did you do? How did you finish?
I had a new system. Each new system brought me closer and closer to wealth. It was simply a matter of time.

I folded the hand, the BB turned over AdKd and rivered a straight to win the hand. I figured with both players all in most of my out were taken away and I was playing Ace high.....this hand haunted me.I ended up taking 2nd later when I flopped a set and he turned a flush....

This is a tough spot, but I really don't see what you're beating here. I like the fold.I have no idea what the BB was thinking, tough. The difference in prize money between 1st and 2nd really doesn't make this move logical in my mind. AKs looks pretty, but it's far from a sure thing against a random hand, and it hurts a lot more to lose this hand than it helps to win it. Given this payout structure, can anyone think of any reason why the BB would make this move? I can't figure it out.
