Terrible Session Part #3

Yesterday I had the worst session I have EVER EVER had. Some of it was due in part to bad beats but other just to my own terrible play. I was sitting at a two tables that each had a player with nearly identical stats. 55/15/4 over 200+ hands. This hand and the following ones I will post the Villain will have stats similar to those (these maniacs had huge stacks and kept flopping aboslute monsters not due to their good play).Spare no mercy and tear this apart... is this standard play? Another AK hand where I lose a signficant amount of $$... maybe this is why AK is one of my biggest losing hands / misplayed hands.

This is about as standard as it gets. You raise with A-K pf to get money in when you're ahead and to thin the field, and you take a stab at the pot post flop. Played back at, you fold.You can't win money at poker unless you lose as well. And if $45 is 'significant' then you are playing outside of your bankroll.

Yeah. If this happened after your first post, methinks some people are going to start pegging you as weak postflop, and you're gonna have to start pushing back.

If I'm real deep and preflop action isn't as strong I will try to represent an over pair here but your only play after the min raise is to push and that could be bad. As played its pretty standard.

Looks perfectly fine to me. I think you're making way too much out of running bad for a few hands. Remember, the long-term in poker is measured in weeks and months, not in hours. How many buy-ins did you lose this session anyway. If it's less than 4, I'd chalk it up to just the cards going against you. I've found that if I lose 5 buy-ins or more, there's usually some tilting involved, but I certainly haven't see anything that would lead me to believe that was the case with you from the hands you posted.
