I'm thinking you're all good. On the flop, there's 1 combination of AA and 1 of KK, and who the hell 3-bets 66? you may get a split hand to fold with the flop cap/turn raise, when he 3-bets the turn you stop giving excessive action due to the guy's TPness.I like your line. You pressed when there's a good chance of being best and got off the gas when he showed you that you were beat but made obvious pot-size calls following the turn 3-bet.

Don't cap AKo preflop...especially against a TAP. Other than that, it looks good.

here's your input:you played it perfectly.seriously.aseemedit: to clarify, your preflop cap is correct. i'll cap with AKo anytime, and it's more justifiable here because SB could be three-betting thinking you're on a steal, and he could have any hand that you have dominated. your flop play is perfect, cap it with top two--if he thought you were on a steal, he might be three-betting with A8 or such. turn play is perfect, he shows continued aggression so you back off. river call is just awful, who calls on that river??? just kidding, of course the river call is perfect. end result: you played it perfectly.

After the capping of the flop betting I would put the villian on AA, KK, or AK. AK being the most likely. I would have probably just call him down on the turn instead of raising. Especially since he is TAP.

I think you should have slowed down more on the turn here, calling down the rest of the way. You don't have much info on the guy, maybe he has AQ, but you capped pre-flop he'd have to figure you for something here.. Im thinking he may have trips on the turn, I'd check/call my way to the end. You didn't play it horrible by any means, horrible would have been re-raising on the river and capping on 4th.

i think you should have slowed down on the turn a bit... he is showing real strength... capped pre flop, i doubt he would play AQ or QQ this way.

TAP=Tight Aggressive/Passive. as in they are Tight Aggerssive PF, but are generally passive postflop
