I just saw the episode of poker at the plaza when they are down to the final 4, Daniel, Deeb, Forrest, and I dunno the 4th (missed the beginning)... well it's fine and everything... but Fox Sports sure is milking this thing. They have a whole hour of the show, one person gets knocked out... about 500 commercials, and it ends with 3 people left still... how long is this gonna go on until we see the end of it? I mean come on... they go from 12 to 6... next episode 6 to 4... another week goes by, and now 4 to 3... and I have to wait another week still. It's getting a little rediculous... how much advertising money could they possibly get out of this thing!

Most times when you watch a tournament on TV, it seems to go by too quickly, but this one, they took their time and you got to see more hands. I love it that they took a whole hour just to show one person getting knocked out. So often when you are watching a tournament, someone will win a big pot and be chip leader and then the next hand they show, the same person is on the short stack!!! I know they can't show every hand, but it frustrating sometimes not to see more. Also, I liked the tournament structure. The blind progression was very slow, which meant that the poker players actually had to play poker!!!!! It didn't become an all-in fest at the end where that was the only possible play to make. I mean Phil Laak was fun to watch on that WPT tournament, but come on. His only move was "ALL IN" and he got very lucky to not get knowcked out of that one.

If I remember right, even the heads up portion is at least two episodes long. In this particular tourney, it's definitely worth it...but yeah, they definitely milked that thing. Just be glad you're watching that one and not Poker Superstars 2. Talk about milking a tourney.

only one person gets knocked out cause the blinds are so slowthe average chip stack is like 150k and the blinds were only like 800/1600
