As a real money player at Full Contact Poker, you have the ability to participate in the largest online poker tournament to date, the $5 Million Poker Classic which guarantees at least $1 million to the final winner. The November 4th Online Final tournament has a buy-in of $5,000+$200 or you can attempt to qualify through the many scheduled tournaments and sit & gos running daily at FCP.Any player participating in the $5 Million Poker Classic Online Final through FullContactPoker.com will be eligible to win a bonus prize tied to the Protégé 2 promotion. At the end of this Poker Classic Online Final (which stops with 45 players remaining), the highest ranked player participating through FCP will earn Seat #2 at Negreanu’s Protégé 2 Live Event. For complete details on the Poker Classic click here.

The above statement makes it sound like whoever finishes the highest at the end of the online portion will get seat 5 protege. But then when you click the link to the poker classic it says whoever finishes the highest regardless of finishing in the top 45. So which is it?Highest person at the end of online play?Or the last man standing from FCP? No matter what?DOS

It's the top eligible FCP player at the end of the online portion whether that person is in the top 45 or not.Since the live portion of the Poker Classic is only one week before the live Protege Final we wouldn't be able to wait for the results from Barcelona to know who is coming to Bahamas.

Hi Clint, the Protege Seat 2 will still be won by the highest FCP player in the Poker Classic who is eligible for the Protege Promotion.

Congratulations to berg55280 who not only is going to Spain for the Poker Classic final but also as the top player from FCP in the online portion of the event has won Seat 2 at the Protege Final table at the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas.
