of course i fold preflop, but when it comes to raising on the river i think it's more likely that two ppl have the nut low and i'm going to quarter them than them quartering me. Would you agree with that?

Would you agree with that?Nope.You have a straight for the nut high, it's equaly vunerable as the nut low is here and you're getting 1/2 value on your raises almost always with no low.Worked out ok, but more cooincidence than cause and effect.

i think the raise on the river is good.i agree that the chance of quartering with the high here is just as good, but you have to watch the way it got played.the villian here raised on flop and the turn, which i think is a pretty good sign he has made his hand there. If he also had J9, he is unlikely raising the flop, and almost definitely not raising the turn.There are two other players in the hand, but either of them is raising with J-9 when the villian leads out on the river. Having seen the way the villian played the hand, and then seeing the two smooth calls on his river lead, it would be a great indication that the nuts here are good for half the pot. Raise for value.

I also forgot to mention that kelmri was the most aggressive player at that table, he bet after the flop on anything. I knew I had him beat and could be quartering the other two. I think the play is marginal, more often than not the play is going to result in the pot being split, but this time i got lucky.
