I really wasn't impressed with Josh's play at the final table. His call against Ivey's all in move with 3-3 was a questionable call, and then the bluff he went out on against Daniel was pretty awful. Is anyone else in agreement with me on this?I haven't heard Daniel mention this bluff, I would like to hear his thoughts on it.

I am on the fence. I don't think most people would play that way but maybe that is exactly why he did what he did.He did have good logic on the 3-3 call. He wanted Ivey out, he felt this may have been his chance. It was extremely risky but it worked.Overall, I thought it was one of the most exciting and best WPT episodes.

Yeah, Josh didn't seem to be on even his B game at the Borgata. He didn't play that badly either, I think some of his reads were off which effected him. As far as the bluff it did sorta look like a blank, but I think he was just really frustrated at that point too and that can make you more stubborn when your trying to bluff

Yeah, the call with the threes was mainly that he was willing to gamble if it meant eliminating Phil Ivey.As for bluffing away all his chips, I'll take the popular board route and say that was a creative play, to be sure.

I agree that the bluff that Josh went out on was really bad, but I think Josh may have miscalculated just how small his raise was. As Daniel himself explained when talking about a couple of his hands on this site, he loves to bet a large amount to make it look like he is committed to the pot so that a person will not come over the top on a bluff hoping to get him out. If a player does raise him, Daniel then has an easier time releasing the hand because he will know the player isn't bluffing. I think Josh understood that, but even if he thought Daniel was bluffing, his raise just wasn't enough to get Daniel to fold considering how huge the pot was at that point. If Josh had about 500k more, I actually would not have thought the bluff to be that bad (though I personally still wouldn't make that play).

I read somewhere that Josh put him on a missed flush drawHe was correct because DN missed the flush, but hit his str8I also think that Josh wasnt aware that it was such a small raiseI dont hate the idea of bluffing there but I think he shoulda seen how much more he had left
