I know this probably isn't going to happen but I missed my match on Sunday because I was in the hospital on Sunday. Saturday night I got jumped by a bunch of thugs on my way home from the bar. I got sliced on the wrist with a knife and it cut a tendon in my wrist. Luckily it didn't hit any major veins or anything. And I spent Sunday in the hospital, they wanted to make sure there were no other issues and schedule me for surgery to get it repaired. But long and short I feel like I let my team down by not showing up and I was wondering if I could play a make up. If not I understand rules are rules.

i'm goin to take the A.hole route. But i do hope you make a full recovery and catch the punkson to the rematch notion, it wouldnt be fair., I understand something terrible happend but that is why we (DN) decided on teams. Its not about 500.00. most of us lose that amount in 1 hand, DN definitely doesnt need to worry about splitting a 500 fee, he even invested a few extra K.The reason is, even if you are expected to play, Your teammates, at least 1, should also be expected to "back up" incase of emergency, and in the event that its 1pm, or 4pm, and you arent around, the teammate will say, well i havent heard from No neck, so i'm gonna play... etc. etc...sorry again, but 1 of yourmembers should have been present to notify you arent online. If you took the solo team route.. well.. agian, sorry to hear

No Neck,I'm just glad to hear that you're okay. Poker has to be secondary to health. Dead people can't exactly play now can they?Get yourself to 100% and worry about the FCP stuff later...I'm sure your team will say the same thing.

We have a 3 person team, but BalloonGuy and I were both on vacation - any backup was impossible.

That sux. Its been almost 40 years since that happened to me, but I still remember it like it was yesterday..hope the surgery goes well.I was luckier...it was the other guy who needed surgery. Not from me lol. The cops knew him and beat the crap out of him on the way to the station, broke his nose in 3 places.
