When Daniel comes around and says that he lost like one million dollars in one session of poker, does it make anyone else feel the way I do. That feeling in your stomach like something really bad happened and theres nothing you can do about it. I feel almost upset for him.Maybe I'm weird. I feel bad for the guy.

I would, but it doesn't work anymore. This is not the right time to make bad jokes.

I don't feel bad for him at all. He's supposed to be professional and should know what he's getting into. So even though it seems like a huge loss to us, it shouldn't be that big a loss to him. (even though a loss is still a loss)It's not like he's some internet player who built a million dollar bankroll grinding it out and winning little tournies and then he sat down and lost it all in the big game. You really shouldn't even be at the big game unless your BR can take a couple hits from it without putting you in a cardboard box.I'm sure if he went on some horrifying losing session that even he didn't expect to have, that he could always drop down to a "lower" limit game and clean up.

As right you are, I don't think he ever goes into that game expecting to lose 7 digits.

+1If he can't take a hit or 2 or 3 like that then he shouldn't be in the big game.

Not a big deal. He has plenty of money. He's won millions of dollars at a time and he's still in positive figures on the year. Plus he's raking in a lot of promotional dollars (i.e. Stacked, DVD, etc.). dont worry bout it man

I'm sure he could afford 10-15 hits like this and still be a millionare. He's won 7.75+ million dollars in tournys and millions in cashgames. Heck, he was like o well not a big deal in his vlog. Plus he will hve more sessions than not winning that much money

I'm a huge fan of Daniel, but I have to say that I don't feel sorry for anyone who is worth millions of dollars, and has the ability to lose a million dollars. I would feel sorry for him if he lost a family member or got hit by a bus, but otherwise I don't feel bad at all.

Well, he only lost about 125 big bets. While it is a lot for one session in the grand scheme of things it ain't that much, I have lost more big bets than that in a day (although at lower limits :club:)
