If you were going to get one arcade game, what would it be?

I am moving to a new house and dutches thread makes me want to buy one what would you get?

I am thinking Street Fighter is up there, as is MK..... choices choices.

Steve,

It doesn't matter who you start because you have a horse shoe up your ass so far I'm not really sure how you get through the day. You must be gay.

I'm instantly convinced that there are varying degrees of "Old School".

My first instinct was Centipede.

Fuck I'm old...

Galaga is solid. Do you get the sit down version? They had at that a local bar I frequented.
I make $31,000 dollars a year and I have a home.

I'm a centipede grand champion. I once played for 16 straight hours on the same game.

I can distinctly remember setting the High Score at my local Pizza Hut when I was about 8 years old. I was so proud of myself that I made my Dad take me back there the next day so I could see my initials up in lights on the machine.

Yeah, they unplug it at the end of the day, resetting the scores.

Bastards!!!

Kind of shattering for an 8yo, like running into Dirty Dutch at the park in it's level of permanent damage.

I loved Frogger but sucked at it.

I also really loved Pole Postition II. The place that sponsored my dads soccer team had one so after everygame we would go there and eat dinner and I would just play it all night long getting the top score on every track.

Without a doubt, I would go with the 6-player X-Men game from the early 90s.....

I guess this is all unnecessary rambling because Hollywood personifies something I hate about most people. He can take valuable knowledge, stare it right in the fucking face and never let a single sentence absorb into his brain.

Remember this: Whatever game you purchase, the novelty will wear off. Make sure and pick one that can be played with a lot of friends, beacuse after a while, that's the only time it will be used.

When I was a kid I could play Asteroids for hours on 1 quarter, even had a hat that said "Asteroids Ace" on it. Yeah, I was a dork
"So you're Sicilian, huh?"
