screech 0
how do you guys compare FCP to the other poker sites? please be un-biased,I had money on FCP/pokerroom once. The games are semi-soft, and besides party, they have a lot of games running. They have a lot of HU games, and pretty high stakes if you are rich.I took all my money out because I love party. Squamch 0
I play Everest only because you can get money for free and it's easy to run up. The competition is fairly soft. The downfall is they only have Hold 'Em, which is maddening. I think my favorites are UB and Full Tilt.
sdnuol 0
i like pokerroom and fcp. they are both great. between the two i would have to go with fcp
Mattnxtc 0
i personally dont like the poker room software
Sluggo 0
They charge rake. It's a negative sum game. The average player loses. That's why FCP and most other sites are bad. Go play at WPEX. The average player breaks even there.
CobaltBlue 662
I find the games pretty good (as in, a decent number of bad players). That said, the NL players certainly aren't as loose as on a lot of other sites.
kkot 0
I've found that LHE at stakes 1/2 and below are soft, especially during the day and late at night.
nosoul 0
I only play lower limits, so take that into account here. But, the level of play isn't bad. It's about the same as what you'll find at other sites. With the exception of, maybe, partypoker.I don't really care for the software. I can't really say why, I just think it's a little annoying. Also, I think their time-limited bonus clearing is a joke. I much prefer UB. The software's quicker. Not as pretty, but I don't care about that. They also have all the games I like to play, including triple draw. When I get my bonus cleared, I'm going to withdraw all my money from FCP and deposit it in UB.
blacktie31 0
the nightly 10+1 golf tourneys and Neg-O are the most fun i've had playing poker online in forever. Great people, most of which play it more like the weekned 200+15's make it challenging but exciting and a fun test of skills.I prefer the interface on Poker Stars esp. with being able to resize the tables now, but the people on FCP are more fun to play with. kkot 0
The bonus is semi-difficult to clear at lower limits, but becomes much easier at higher limits. But, FCP gives you plenty (90 days) of time to finish it. If the bonuses cleared faster than 9x, it would be my favorite Poker Network skin.

Maybe for you, but I play on-line maybe 5-10 hours a week. I hadn't even cleared a fraction of my initial $300 worth of bonuses when I signed onto the site. Now the $50 extra bonus I won for winning the Neg-O a couple of weeks ago was lumped into that and I have a $330 bonus to clear in 90 days. Even if I played 10/20 I wouldn't be able to clear that with the hours I play. I liked it much better when I could clear a couple of bucks of bonus off each week. I'm pretty sure that I'm done with the site after this season of the Neg-O is over.

You just leave your bonus money in your cashier bonus account and transfer small amounts at a time to a poker bonus. You don't have to transfer it all at once.
mrdannyg 274
The 1/2-3/6 games are crazier than most sites. Looser and more maniacal than most other sites. The sign-up bonus is not bad, though there are other sites on the network with 7x sign-up bonuses, and Pokerroom has more reloads (though they're usually 10x).The only real reason to play at FCP is if you've exhausted the better bonuses at other sites on the network, or for FCP promotions like the Neg. Open and others, which are probably pretty fun.
