Depending on how much of a donkey, and specific reads, you could argue for raise/calling or raise/folding the river, but in that pot, I'm getting to a showdown with two pair. The river sucks, and its HU, so at best not raising is a tiny mistake. More likely, I think calling is better.Everywhere else seems very standard. In fact, these hands have all been so standard and perfectly played that I'm cringing at the thought of hearing your results.

i prefer just callingthere's so many dangerous hands raising seems to waste an extra bb hand if he has a higher two pair or the straightUNLESSyou've seen him bet the river w/a single pair. I've been seeing that a lot in online 3/6 lately. I lead all the way to river and then the punk bets so I simply call worried that he might river a 2pair or something, when in fact he shows top pair bad kicker

One of those times when you hate to just call, but I think that's right. I don't think you're ahead more than 2/3 here.GB
I don't mean to nitpick, but I just want to clarify something concerning the whole 2/3 line of thought. You are risking 2 to win 1, but by calling the raise, you are assuming you win some small % of the time that is greater than your pot odds, if not, you would fold. And those times you are best, you win 2 bets instead of one. So in practical terms, you really only have to be good somewhere around 60% of the time to make the raise. Again, not to nitpick, youre line of thought is correct. The 2/3 thing is just a pet peeve of mine.

I didn't think I was ahead often enough to be able to put in a raise. That said, I did think there was a slight enough chance that I was ahead to put in the call.Grandpa donkey turned over 5 :club: 4 :D for the runner-runner.

I never advocated a raise fold line, however, here are it's merits:1. Get value from worse hands2. Fold some better hands3. We don't get 3 bet by worse hands ever, so we can easily fold to a 3-betIt's a very small play in terms of overall value vs just calling, but if applied in the right places, it can be +ev.
