DCSports92GSR 0
Played some of my usual game tonight ( 2-5 NL, 300 min 500 max buy ). Bought in for the max at about 4:00 pm or so, and at about 4:30, an asian guy whos absolutley retarded agressive and loose sits to my left ( **** ). WAY over values any hands ( if you've watched live at the bike, think jesus on speed ). So I play my waiting game. Sit back, and wait for the one hand. Finally, at about 11:30pm, I've got about $690 behind, and I get KJos in the big blind. UTG ( asian guy ) makes it $20 to go, 3 people call, and I call. Flop is 9-10-Q rainbow. I bet right out ( $40 ), and asian guy makes it $400. All fold to me, I push and he insta calls having me covered with 8-J. Turn is a seven, river is a king SOOOO long I SAT THERE AND freeking waited then... the hand comes and we chop a $1,450 pot Rigged I tell you... rigged...

TheCinciKid 0
Look at it this way, chopping a $1400 pot is much better than losing one.

I waited the guy out for 7 and 1/2 hours. 7 and 1/2 hours of sitting on my ***, picking up small pots waiting for my shot at this guy... then I get it and he draws to a chop Yes, chopping that pot was better than losing it, but damn I was so frustrated after that. I never got my second shot either

anselm 0
I agree, chopping pots sucks ***. Just watched two guys get it all-in with AA and T2o (!) on a A23 board, turn 4 river 5. I'm sure the dude with rockets was steaming pretty badly. A lot of frustrating things in poker but chopping after you were almost a lock ranks right up near the top.
gilbertology 0
Its better than waiting like 7 hours with the crazy drunk nuts guy on your right, hitting your dream flop, raising him fro 90 to 300, having him go all in, and then folding with ridicolus pot odds basically losing a 2k pot just because you were so delirious you thought he had the nuts during that 2 minute decision

I never got my second shot either I feel for you, last night at 4-4NL I had exact same situation except the moron was on my right. I had KK with $700 in front of me, got it all in with a set on the flop, board runner runner'ed into a straight and we chopped.
