Ultimate Bet.25/.50 Limit8 handedHero is middle position.Dealt A :D A :D (yummy). Folds around to me and I raise it. Folds around to small blind who calls. Big blind gets out of the way. FLOP - 10 :) k :) A :club: (swweeeeet)Small blind bets into me? He's a pretty tight player so he definitely caught a piece of it but Im not feeling a straight....I don't put him on KK or AK cause I assume he would have re-raised me preflop. I'm assuming Im in the lead and decide to just call him..maybe make him think I'm on AQ,AJ etc and then stick it to him on the turn.TURN - K :D - BOOMLike i said...I didn't put him on KK since he didn't re-raise preflop, so now im sitting on a monster against one player...who bets into me again! So now Im thinking...hmmm do I raise it now or wait till the river to see if he bets into me again. I have the nut boat and have convinced myself he doesn't have KK so...i decide to just call him again. I figure if I bump it now..he might scamper off so why not just let him make the bet for me on the river...RIVER - 9 :) So...at this point...I'm praying the guy hit the flop with some clubs and just caught his flush...and I think i might be right after, yup you guessed it, he bets into me. I reraise with my Aces full and wait for him to fold...instead he calls.so... can I get some feedback on the play...seems like there was only one choice in middle position pre-flop (raise) but I'm wondering how I played after the flop againse the one dude. Thanks for the feedback. I'll post results after a few comments from you guys. Thanks.

I raise the flop.
I thought that might be a better play but figured with him betting into me I should wait for the bigger bet.Would I be raising to see how much he likes his hand, because I think my hand is vulnerable, or for value?

Allrighty then....Thanks for the feedback fellas. This hand happened last Thursday and has been nagging at me days. In the end this is a bad, no sick beat story. I have been going over it again and again wondering if there was a way to get away from it or to get him off his hand...The dude had J :club: Q :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (insert shoot self in head smiley here)So...preflop he must be thinking...eh, screw it...lets see the flop (doesn't realize he's a massive underdog)On the flop....he's in heaven...he knows he's got the nuts and poor me now im screwed and I don't know itOn the turn I hit my 7 outter to fill up and im back in happy town!On the river...this moron hits his 1 outer and apparently totally doesn't realize he just made the stone cold nuts. so he just calls my raise. I can see him thinking I have the A :D with another :D but if so, what other :) ?! the K :) , 10 :) are on the board and he's got the Q :club: ,J :P . HA maybe Im so loose he's got me raising A trash suited. If he had re-raised I think i would have capped it just for good measure since I assumed I had him beat. The advocates of raising the flop might be right, but I'm sure he just reraises his straight. And I still won't know what he's got...just that he really likes it :P . I think the only hope to win this hand was to raise the turn and there's a slight slight slight chance that he knows I have a made boat(AA, AK) and thinks he's drawing dead (since he apparently didn't notice he was sitting on the nut straight flush draw)Hopefully this is the last time i find there really was a monster under the bed!( doubtful :club: )

you lose the same raising turn..maybe more if he bets into you again on river and you raiseHe's not bet/folding a straight, and oesfdbut alas, bad luck
But you'd definitely be putting money in with a HUGE value, and he's going to pay you off EVERY single time ont he turn and river.
