Bellagio 15/30 LHE (9-handed)Cobalt is CO MP3 w/ A :) A :) . My image is tight. Game is loose-passive. UTG+1 is a young TAG. SB is a middle-aged loose, dumbly aggressive donkey.Pre-flop:1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 2 folds, Cobalt 3-bets, 2 folds, SB 4-bets, UTG+1 caps, Cobalt calls, SB callsFlop (16 SB): Q :club: Q :D J :D (3 players)SB bets, UTG+1 calls, Cobalt raises, SB calls, UTG+1 callsTurn (11 BB): 4 :D (3 players)SB checks, UTG+1 checks, Cobalt bets, SB callls, UTG+1 callsRiver (14 BB): 9 :) (3 players)SB bets, 1 fold, Cobalt callsFinal Pot: 16 BBStandard, right?

can't imagine any round you'd play differently. i guess raising the river is a consideration, but its the river and its HU when the action gets to you, so the only question there is for a fraction of a bet.everything else is perfect, especially the part where you didn't poop your pants in a 5-bet, multiway pot at 15/30. sucks he had JJ though.

That would be the strangest line ever for JJ.

not really. He never raised because he never wanted to knock the other guy out. Then on the river he realized he could trap him if he bet out. It wasnt played very well if he had JJ, but I can kinda understand what he was thinking if he had that (or QQ or Qx).Nice hand cobalt. Please post some more. :club:

It was a rollercoaster to read through this hand. At first I thought it was crazy to raise on the flop, then I loved it because no one re-raised, I loved the brick turn bet and only a flat-call back, and I hated, hated, hated the river for you Cobalt. Looks like you're playing well though.

Another one perfectly played. I can see not raising the flop if it comes Qd Qs 7h but here you clearly did right by raising.GB
Elaborate? I'm interested.

It's because that QQ7 flop is completely draw free. The QdQsJd flop has straight draws, flush draws, etc that could easily be betting out here.

screech, I'll be back in a couple of days, so I'll post more then. I've only got two more significant LHE HHs though. The rest will be NLHE. Oh, and get ready to laugh/cry at the results for most of these.

This one the villain had K3s for the flush, right?

too bad the river wasnt an ace uh cobalt? yeah you played the hand perfectly, and on the river most of the times i would just call because the only hand the guy could have and not have you beat is A J, but i highly doubt he did.
