DanielSon 0
Looks like he is sick of poker already....Negreanu Wants to Go HomeAn opponent raises to $75 from the cutoff and Daniel Negreanu raises to $375 from the small blind. The opponent makes the call and both see a flop of 10club8spade6diamond. Negreanu pushes all-in for $1575. His opponents fold and Negreanu shows 9diamond2club. After showing the bluff, Negreanu says that he just didn't want to be here anymore.
Fubar The Sperm 1
Maybe he put the guy on AK, AQ and knew he would fold and if he didn't he had 10 outs and was just trying to tilt the guy.
DanielSon 0
Lol, so he was lying about not wanting to be there then?
GolferDan 0
Lol, so he was lying about not wanting to be there then?Considering that everyone knows DN's favorite (or trash fav) isd 10 7off, it wasn't that bad of a move.I think busting out of the HORSE was very dissappointing. Probably more so than any other bust-out this year.
Fubar The Sperm 1
Lol, so he was lying about not wanting to be there then?Well if he was trying to tilt the guy then its the perfect thing to say or if he's planning on setting him up. Maybe he doesn't want to be there but he could at least have some pride in his work.
DanielSon 0
Hopefully he'll be over it by the main event and take it down!
Derswick 0
Why does ha play so many events? Why not take a couple of days off? Like why would Gavin Smoith be playing this event after being up all night in the HORSE event?

matt21sz 0
Don't both of them have an ongoing contest during this WSOP as far as who can cash the most, or something?I may be mistaken, but I think that bet was between Gavin Smith and Joe Sebok. Flame away if I'm incorrect.

Derswick 0
Daniel is on his way to the gold course after donating $2k into todays no limit event. I am having trouble with why he bothered playing? He could have given his spot to a FT member that wanted to play rather than going and giving it a half assed effort.

The button makes the call, and dave Colclough re-raises $800 from the small blind. Negreanu calls for his last $600, putting himself all-in. The button folds, and the flop comes Q72. Coulclough flips over AQ, and Negreanu shows KJ. The 5 and the 6 on the turn and river offer no help to Negreanu, and he is eliminated after this hand. Colclough rakes the pot and brings his stack to $4,600scratch that last post.

What with all the time, money and effort you've put into his career with him. A loss for him surely feels like a loss for you as well. I'm sure you are in his thoughts during this tough time also. God bless and good luck.

Whatever 1
Or maybe he was just looking to double up early like he's said all along. He's actually having a pretty decent series so far. Geesh.
Men the Hellmuth 0
I'm going to be honest, if DN truly doesn't want to be there anymore, then he just needs to break for a little bit.I'm here in vegas for the month, busting my butt as a grinder taking his shot. I'm putting up about 10% of my bankroll to play in about 4-5 smaller wsop events. So far, things have not gone well, and as a result, decided not to play in today's event. Now maybe he forgot what it's like to truly put your heart and soul into these things, or maybe this is the aftermath of putting his h&s into the HORSE event and failing, but regardless, it's pretty demoralizing and a little insulting to hear a player of his calibur say he doesn't want to be there. It's his money, his time, and he can say whatever he pleases. He's a honest person. And so am I, so hopefully if he reads this, he can understand my frustration as a colleague who's trying to make it, that I am a little baffled and upset by this attitude. I would love to be in his position to play every event, and would kill for the chance to gain some insight and advice from him during the WSOP. I have so far been unsuccessful in getting in touch with him out of fear of being seen as just some 'fan', so I have given him his space when I have seen him. I'd say after having success online, I'm having a difficult time transitioning to live major events. I'm 0 for 4 on 10k events and 0 for 5 for 1k+ events, so I'm looking for some tweaks.Bottom line DN, if you truly are feeling a little burnt out and don't want to be there anymore, take it from someone who is here now and appreciates every minute he can be here. Maybe you just need to spend some time talking about the game with someome who is playing for the pure love of it.Starting to ramble....later.Man, i couldnt agree with you more..... i know you might get some flames but take them with a grain of salt. DN is a great personality in the world of poker, he is also a great poker player, but hes not a god and when he screws up someone should let him know. Not wanting to play an event is his choice, but why go and play, then tell everyone you dont care and would rather be golfing, and get knocked out. If its about bracelets as someone said earlier, how can you get a bracelet if your not even trying, and want to get knocked out lol. Someone else said give to give it to someone on FCP or the like, you know that might be somewhat fine if its some kind of contest but, if you really dont want to be there and you feel like donating 2000 bucks, then give it to charity or some bum down on freemont st.... well now im rambling and im sure i might get a flame or 2 but.. ohh well
fckthis 0
Or maybe he justs wants to see if he can get chips and have a reason to be there.Who cares anyways...other than people that have him in their pool.
MaltiMignun 0
It was about the comment he made, nothing to do with whether he is having a good series or not.I dunno, maybe it was just table talk taken out of context, like 'ha ha, I don't want to be here', but the way it read, I could definitely see some truth to it.
