Alright, I'm interested in getting into shorthanded limit games to work on that aspect of my play and dealing with aggression as well as furthering my own. I need education on many things, as I'm almost exclusively a limit full-ring player.1. Game selection: What's the ideal flop% for a good player, so I can avoid those in favor of the terrible tables, and what identifies a terrible table? How many "sharks" does it take to ruin a table, and so on.2. You don't play looser, you play more aggressively, right? The shift in preflop requirements is away from drawing hands and towards high card value, but a similar actual proportion of hands, correct? (example using HEFAP charts: KTo=group 6, 87s=group 5. In 6-max, 87s is a lot worse than KTo, right?)3. How multitable-able is 6-max? I'm thinking each decision becomes a little more marginal and you have to focus on your opponents more. I'll play 1 til I feel I have good notes on enough players, game selection and play skills, but from there I wonder if it's possible to play 4 reasonably well.4. Buy-in/BR/Swings: How many BB to bring to a game? How big do swings get (the average ones, not the -infinity BB runs from hell)? How much is appropriate BR?5. Postflop play differs mostly in increasing aggression, but at what point does it cross into recklessness, typically? Most of the rest is situational, I know. Does the typical elevation in aggression make check-raising or trapping more viable as well?6. Comparable profitability: assuming I get decent at 6-max, is there more or less $ for a 6-maxer as opposed to a full-ring player?7. Expected players: What assumption for play should be used when you have no reads? Assume LAGgy tendencies? What style of play is the most frequently used by the biggest fish? I assume weak-tights just don't bother and LPs, while nice to have also avoid the short games, so it's LAGs and TAGs, really.8. Add anything I don't know I need to know, I have faith in (well, some of :D) you guys.
