heh heh...knew that would start something.Sat down to play PP for the first time. Playing .5/1 limit hold'em, and the first hand I get dealt is AA. Woohoo! What a way to start. Board stays uncoordinated and all my raises get multiple callers. Whoops pocket 5's made trips on the flop, and I've been beat the whole time.Second hand: AA again. I kid you not. At this point I'm 2/2 on Party. Again, nothing scary happens, I bet out, and this time get beat by 2-pair (79 who cold-called 2 pre-flop)Third hand: QQ. wow. Flopped another Q, and made back my losses from the first two hands.6th hand: KK. Flopped trips, and made a bundle. The river found me heads-up with a guy who capped the betting with me with 2 pair (3rd and 4th) and no draw. I think I'm going to like it here. :)Anyway, AA, AA, KK and QQ in my first 6 hands. If I dont think it's rigged now (and I dont), then I never will. Of course, maybe I'm in on it.

I've cried wolf many a time on many a site due to the seemingly overwhelming number of full houses that get beat on a daily basis. Until I saw a similar situation happen in a house game just a scant few weeks ago. There were 6 of us playing, and three people in the pot on the flop. Pocket sevens were against ace king suited and ace king offsuit. Flop was 7 king three, turn was the final seven, river was a king. Joe (the guy with the quads) busted both Karen (his wife) and Lucy (his sister) who had full houses kings over sevens. It was insane. That hand alone changed my opinion completely about internet poker possibly being rigged.

i used to think a lot of this stuff was very questionable...until i was at a live casino and witness the following Kill pot.preflop: utg raises, gets three callers, blinds foldflop: 459 rainbow, utg bets, utg+1 raises... ...betting is capped fourways on flopturn; 5, betting is capped again, this time three way, guy in back dropped out and was complaining how is aces always gets beat.River: blank, betting is capped again (all weak players)showdown: utg has 99 for 99955 utg+1 has 44 for 44555 co has 55 for 5555after that pot, which was for that limit the largest pot ive ever seen ive come to a conclusion: given that there are 5 community cards and only 2 cards in the players hand, you're bound to see some incredible stuff...its more prevalent online simply because you are seeing 3x's as many hands per hour at least...its that simple. Hell, look at the single worst bad beat in the history of poker involving Nick "the Greek" Dandalos and Johnny Moss...i forget who had each hand but what happened was...one of them flopped quad aces while holding two aces in their hand, and the other caught runner runner royal flush...and this was LIVE!

I don't think it's rigged but I have seen some pretty weird stuff. A few nights ago I was playing a texas holdem single table SNG. Before I was knocked out at 5th place, there were four 4-of-a-kind hands in the game!

People talk about online poker being rigged...but has there ever been a site that was, and it was proven? I'd like to hear that story, and the s**tstorm that followed...LOL

Here's something to think about:Last week, while playing at Poker Room, the following happened,in 3 consecutive pots, pocket A's getting cracked. First, AA vs QQ, flop AQblank, Q on the turn,Second, AA vs AA vs K3off , K on the flop, 3 on the river,Third, AA vs AQ suited, Q on the flop, Q on the turn. The game was NL Texas SNG and the opponents were singled out preflop. Think about the odds to get 4 pocket A's in 3 consecutive pots AND all getting cracked.

Doesn't take long playing on the Internet to see some strange stuff. But it happens in live games too. Sat down in a 3/6 game at our local casino and was dealt an Ace 11 times in the first 12 hands and only won once

Check the rake in the game you're playing and then times that by about $10,000 and that's what they're making. It's an absolute goldmine and they only need one big scandal to ruin it for them. No one risks a multi million pound income and that's what most of the BIG sites are making.I've reported collusion before and they've investigated it thoroughly and professionally. It's beyond comprehension they would actually be involved in anything themselves.Doyle Brunson once lost with quads twice on the same day to the same player... it happens:-)Gl in the future anyway.

No, I play almost exclusively on party poker and don't believe it's rigged. I consistently win money on the site and some of the bad beats will make you crazy sometimes
. However...These are the people that tick me off though. To make a statement like this is just unbelievably naive. Greed plays a major roll in a lot of things and just because someone is making a ton of money doesn't mean they won't try every angle possible to make more. Ever hear of Enron? Is party poker rigged? I don't think so. But don't be so naive and think that there isn't the possibility of cheating. Whether it's by the site itself, collusion, former programmers, hackers(major corporations have had it happen to them already), the list goes on.That's strange because I've reported suspected collusion to party poker on more than one occasion and I didn't even get the impression that they checked it out.
