Yes, i think a pot bet would be in order but the donkey calling more than half the pot bet on a gut shot is pretty brutal. you flop top two you do want some action. I think your play was fine,You were just unlucky that he was lucky. Post flop 4 cards beat you, 12 cards might scare you.No biggy
