Well, I’ve always read about those insane downswings people have. I never thought I’d have one of that magnitude, and I’m sure everyone does at first, and then BOOM!

I first whored/won my way upto 5100 (that’s the top of that peak on the 1st graph), and since then I’ve just lost and lost. I actually stopped whoring at a 4500$ roll because I wasn’t “killing” the games, ie I beat 1/2 full for 1 bb/100. Never had PT for .5/1, but I’m pretty sure I was a winning player there. That’s probably the biggest mistake I made, as Abba mentioned in another post “that’s like a 2bb/100 leak.”

So, how do I plan on getting out of all this? Well, for starters I’m going to always play with a bonus backing me anywhere I play. And if I can, I’ll try to get rakeback. I’ve already whored a couple of B2B’s, party and its ex skins, absolute, UB, bunch of primas, and a couple of pokerroom+skins. Currently I’m doing the betfair 800$ +rakeback, and I’ve signed up at interpoker with there monthly bonuses+rakeback. Other than that, I don’t know where else I can get rakeback w/o creating a 2nd account, if anyone has experience with this I’d like to know how.

Finally, if anyone has any advice/suggestions about what else I should do, please feel free to post. If you’ve been thru a similar situation and bounced back, please post about it! It’ll be good motivation and it will definitely help my confidence.

If it makes you feel better, I was up $10k at SHLHE (across 1/2 through 30/60 stakes) a few months ago, and now I'm down $500. This is probably over +50k hands. I like to think I can play the game, but I'm not sure my results testify to that.

I am really happy to enter in this site. Poker is one of the online gaming. It is very talented game. In poker game so many persons play with betting. It is almost gambling. It has so many types. Family members also play for fun with this game. We're all new players and we cannot play at 4 tables at once! It's incredible.

The swings in LHE will drive you batty. I won consistently for about three months playing off and on (maybe a total of 25K hands or so) and then I hit a downswing at which point, it just became impossible for me to book a winning session for about a month.

I finally just gave up on it. I've played about 100 hands of LHE in the last 2 and a half months now. There are just a lot of other games out there that are more rewarding. I'm sure I'll go back to it eventually, but it's been pushed to the back of the line for now.
Lady luck's my fuck-buddy.

I think that you moved up from 1/2FR to 2/4FR prematurely if you were only beating 1/2 for 1BB/100.

Did you go straight from 1/2FR to 2/4SH?

WPEX is always an option.

No offence intended, but it is possible that you arent able to beat 2/4.

sometiems b/c of bonuses, our br grows a bit bigger than it should. It is possible that between running good and hittin bonuses up that you might have gotten a bit ahead of your ability. No offense to you at all and i definately hit that wall when i flew up the limits while whoring it up.

Sun Poker recently copied Interpoker's 100% to $100 monthly. You can get rakeback at Sun also (i've heard even for existing accounts if you email Support and ask them to cancel your old account, though I can't confirm), so that's a good one to add you anyone's list.
Long-term bets:

(2) 76'ers to win title @ 31
Webb Simpson to win US Money Title @ 17
Brandt Snedeker to win US Money Title @ 26
(5) Broncos to win the AFC @ 11
(2.5) Broncos to win the SB @ 21
(2) Bears to win SB @ 42
(0.5) Red Sox to lead AL East @ 6.5
(1.5) White Sox to lead AL Central @ 17.25
Indians to lead AL Central @ 15
Nationals to lead NL East @ 9
(0.5) Marlins to lead NL East @ 6
Padres to lead NL West @ 29
(0.5) Rockies to lead NL West @ 6.5
(0.5) Cardinals to win NL @ 9

From 1/2 FR I went to 1/2 6max on a B2B site, but the place was a rock garden with most tables with 30%ish to the flop. I broke even there for 10k hands, and figured that at looser sites like party that I could win. I also played a bit of 2/4 full, and then moved to 2/4 SH.

I'm strongly considering this possibility.

i've been told they don't at Interpoker, so I figured it was the same for Sun Poker. Sorry, but I don't know.
