Just out of curiosity... are there any pro's who read and/or post on this forum? Haven't noticed any, but maybe some stop by and don't say much, so I thought I would ask.

I've not had a job for 10 years. But please dont' call me a pro. For some reason I hate to tell people I"m a poker pro. Probably because I know that when it comes to poker, there is so many variables and debatable subjects, that saying you are a pro, will only get me in trouble debating things that I cannot win.I've posted allot in here..there is definitely some interesting reading that I've written on. If it matters..you can also see that i'm a member right after Daniel.

I keep waiting to see paul phillips' post. I like his wit and eloquent sense of sarcasim. Back in the day when this site didn't change for years, I could always count on paulphillipsjournal.com for my daily poker fix. Keena James has also posted here and I would consider him a pro. Can you be a broke pro? I wonder how many broke pro's there are in our forum.

I'm with you on paul, he's one of my favorites, and he just rips up some of the people who post on these things with stupid stuff... and I guarantee most of the time, they have no clue what he just said, lol.

I used to work and volunteer almost all the time at the foodbank in Chinatown of Seattle. We must always do things beyond poker to keep a steady outlook of what life is really all about beside seeing cards all the time. Time on the felt will make you lose sight of the true value of money. From helping the elderly to helping the Domestic Violence program..I"ve done just about every community service program. Especially, during this time of year.anyone wants my real name, they can email me and search the website and see the things i've been quoted on about the community I help. Please don't ask so you can make fun of what i do in my spare time or to make fun of the homeless people I help.

I used to be a really well known pro. I won the 1939 WSOP main event in Berlin, playing Adolph Brunsonheimen headsup at the final table. Won a grand prize of $22.74, which was quite a bit of change in those days.

LOL! Excellent sense of humor and one of my favourite joke subjects too.
Please, never tell the fish they suck. We want opponents who make mistakes, don't we?

I'm a broke pro. I have played limits from 1-3 holdem up to 75 -150 holdem. I have played final tables in major tournaments( and If I have to I can prove it.) in 2002 I played against t.j cloutier in the wpf's at foxwoods at the 300 limit holdem final table. I came in 4th ina 1000 buy in limit holdem event that same year, also came 20th in a 1/2 hld 1/2 stud 300 buyin. have made final tables at the orleans, the 4 queens classic, and the new england poker championchips. I played in the 2002 10,ooo buy-in event at foxwoods and sat with dn. I can recall a hand he played against a certain player that was huge. if I have to I will tell it and maybe he will remember it. I'm only posting this cuz someone asked. I am broke by my own doing. for this year, ( I keep extensive records on pokercharts.com) I am winning 4,247in b/m poker. I am winning 759 online( sngs, mtt's only) and I am losing 835 in b/m mtt's. that has my br at 4171 right? wrong. I blow my poker winnings on sports wagering and the machines. it never fails. I've done it for years. I have had 25,000 brs and Ive destroyed it. I admit my major leaks and I try so hard, but I continue to punish myself. maybe someday I will snap out of it and concentrate solely on poker.

Wow! That stinks. I hope that you begin to win more. I know that you already know that you need to work on your br management.I cannot teach you anything I am sure.I look forward to learning from you though.
