fryer98 30
I was curious on how many people make notes on players online? What I mean by this is: Pokerstars has the "Note" feature. I'm pretty sure the other sites have a similar feature.Just wondering. Any comments??
BPV 0
I do. If i see something blatantly obvious that will help me in the future, especially in ring games or in a sit n go.. ill write down a little note on them.. like if someone calls me down with bottom pair or with a gutshot or backdoor draw ill write it down. Also a good way to berate someone without anyone knowing you did it. I have yet to join a table with someone and gone "oh, i took notes on him"... so i don't even know if they carry over, or if they are just there temporarily.
Chopper 0
actually, they do carry over. its an easy way to categorize T/A, L/P, etc. one quick note and if you ever run into them again, you got a beat on them right away.also will write notes like.... idiot called thru to rvr w/ absolutely nothing. or drew out on me from nothing to 4 card flush. fryer98 30
I believe I read the notes stay on that computer, not on your account.
akishore 0
are you kidding? notes are my lifelines in SNG's and sometimes in cash games. but SNG's is really where the note feature gives me a huge edge.within ten hands, i hope to have at least 5 people categorized in the notes ("TA-A, stay away from him", "TA-P, shies down on turn after raising pre-flop, leading on the flop and getting called... use delayed bluffs against him on turn", "LA-A, auto-bluffs on button when checked to him, trap him for all his chips", "LP-P, calling station, only raises with top pair or better", "TOA-OA, overvalues his low pairs and pushes in when an overcard falls", etc.), and within twenty hands, i hope to have all 9 opponents noted.then, when i'm in a tricky situation, i can REALLY make correct plays against them, and i can't stress enough how much the notes help me.and notes will carry over, but i'm not sure if they'll carry over on another computer.aseem
Emptyeye 0
I use them. Usually a showdown or two will tell me everything I need to know ("Plays anything suited", for instance).
