In a single table tourney what is the proper procedure when someone who was slated to be the button or one of the blinds is eliminated in the previous hand?Thanks for any help

The blinds must continue to move, so the following are possible:1. The current big blind is eliminated, in which case the next player becomes the big blind, and no one posts the small blind.2. The current small blind is eliminated, in which case results in a "dead button", where the button sits where the old small blinds player was.3. Both the big and small blinds are eliminated, in which case someone posts a big blind, and the small blind and button are both dead.No one is exempt from posting a blind when it is their turn, so a big blind will always exist. That is why a small blind might be missing, but the big blind never will be.Sometimes the same player will effectively have the button for multiple hands, but physically it will not be placed in front of that player.I hope this explained well enough, if not, I can expand the examples.
