actually eddie went all in and miami called, with trip 10's you would have done the same.

Duh, she knew she was beat. It was a chip dump to Eddie so he'd have enough of a stack to beat Everest. All-in-all, I thought it was a pretty damn good show. Yes, it is a "show", so not everything's going to make perfect sense, but it was enough of a draw to make me watch it, and I don't watch "appointment" TV basically ever.Gotta love David Williams' quote as he left the table.

I prolly woulda been all in on the flop...its pretty likely you have the best hand at the moment and with those hands I'm sure the pot was pretty big. Ya she was screwed cause everest flopped a straight but thats the chance she's gotta take.Either way I wonder how much money everest won by having all his cronies bet on towne in that tournament. Either way I for one can't wait for the next season of tilt. Ya it started out slow but you get attached to the characters and end up caring about them. Some parts are corney but I laugh at them instead of getting pissed off saying "thats LAME!!" I just try to enjoy it for what it is...a show about vegas.

in case nobody knew... its close to what arieh said to williams when raymer knocked arieh out of the 04 final table...except arieh called raymer a mother F'er... williams called michael madsen a donkey basically...i thought that was the funniest thing all season
When you see me at a poker table, ask me about my WSOP bracelet.

ya well thats because arieh was full of himself and was pretty much just embarassed to be beated by raymer. The matador winning would have been a huge blow to "Tilt's" poker world. Just imagine him taking a picture with the WCOP bracelet and then having to switch it out with a pair of handcuffs.

That would have been cool too! And how about at the end, if Testa had cut his wrists in the bathtub a la The Godfather!!Had its highs and lows but overall I enjoyed the hell out of Tilt!! A lot of really memorable characters and an unpredictable plot. Other than some great cameos, the poker value was incidental but what did you expect? It's a shame the weakest performance was the "hero". What the hell did Eddie Towne have in his mouth the whole time? Looked like Skoal but I never saw him spit. And Miami was almost as bad. She did all her acting with her chin and her hair.On the plus side, Don "The Matador" Everest was the best TV bad guy since Sonny Steelegrave on Wiseguy!!

I believe the 1.4 mil was enough, or just short, to put her allin

Definitely agree. I was immediately reminded of Arieh after Williams said that to Eddie.

I dunno if it was supposed to be a chip dump or not, the show doesn't really make that blatantly clear. Anyway, we don't know how large the pot was; it might have been big enough that Miami had the correct odds to try and hit her 10-outer on the river against a made straight.

Didnt the little bit about the new "hotshot kid" on the block who played online poker with multiple monitors parallel the Scott Fischman expose during the WSOP....Seemed like a parody on Fischman to me.......I got a chuckle anyways......

Well okay, the show was unrealistic but, it did it's purpose. Poker has become a gigantic industry and everyone want's a peice of the pie. So, ESPN decided to make this show to entertain it's poker loving viewers, and the show did it's job.
