Spiking the water bottle is so good looking
I guess this is all unnecessary rambling because Hollywood personifies something I hate about most people. He can take valuable knowledge, stare it right in the fucking face and never let a single sentence absorb into his brain.

Fantastic. Do you think he was embarrassed afterwards?

Yeah, but you also gotta admire the guy. Once he started going a little over the line...he didn't stop and force himself to be embarrassed for just going a little over the top....he set out to do something really special to be embarrassed about. This man went all out...got himself on ESPN.
Also, the best part is him dumping his water on the plate to try and clean it..lol.
No doubt he's gonna have a hard time getting his players to stop arguing with the umps next time..
(Manager) "Hey son, quit worrying about the umps. Keep your head in the game."
(Player) "HAHAHHAHAHA...good one coach. Can I see that bottle of water?"

Hah....good stuff. High marks for the water bottle spike and bat throwing. Covering up home and throwing second was fun, but it's been done. Originality counts.

Throwing the base has been done, but not many people dive into it first. And the water bottle stuff was awesome.

It was pretty standard, then does the slide into 2nd (that was new!), picks up base and throws it, been done, kicks all the dirt (also been done) threw bats on the field (ok, show me something new!), pours waters on the plate (alright, I'm liking this), gets behind home plate and acts like he's calling a strike (whoa!)......and caps it off with the wonderful spiking of the water bottle. That was golden. Jim Rome wants this guy called up to the Big leagues so we can see it on national TV!

I think this is the one I saw and it's much better because it shows all the details.
The espn version missed a good part. When the manager goes into the dugout, he starts throwing stuff onto the field (like bats). Well the batboy (who was dressed in a different uniform than the manager so I'm guessing he's the batboy for the other team) wants to go out and pick up the bats off the field. So he's waiting just out side the dugout where the manager entered and proceeded to throw all that stuff. You can see the batboy peering into the dugout to see if the managers finished. I can actually feel the batboys this-guy-is-crazy fear. He has no idea whats going to happen and doesnt want to get killed. He then vacates the dugout entrance when he realizes that the manager isnt through and wants to come back onto the field.
Also on the cnn video you get to here the song "Youve lost that loving feeling" playing in the background. That was great.

For those who haven't seen the CNNSI movie.
The best part for me was the PA system playing "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" as he came out of the dugout with the water bottle. Classic.
