Jadaki 1
So far I have to give the nod to Argentina's second goal over Mexico, it was one of the best goals I have ever seen. You Tube Link
gkunit20 1
Definately that second one against Mexico. No arguement.
Filesharer 0
Or Joe Cole's carbon copy against Sweden. That would be the main contender along with the "goal of the century" by Argentina against S&M.
MapleLeafs 142
Cole's goal was incredible, but given the timing of the Argentine goal, I'd say it wins.
BigDMcGee 3,367
do you guys realize how freaking impossible that shot was? That looked like one of those trick goals from that nike ronaldinho commercial. Absolutely sick
zimmer4141 0
do you guys realize how freaking impossible that shot was? That looked like one of those trick goals from that nike ronaldinho commercial. Absolutely sickI don't know, it looks like the hundreds of other times someone has tried that shot and either put it 20 feet high, 20 feet wide, or right into the defender's chest. Great shot for sure, but it's tried a lot. The misses just aren't replayed 100 times per day.
socalpoker_j 1
Given the circumstances of the game, the pressure, the situation... that shot by Maxi Rodriguez was one of those once in a lifetime clutch shots. I'd have to say that this has been the most timely and beautifully struck shot in the WC.Fring's goal in the first game from about 30 yards out that bent around the keeper into the back of the net, and the 2nd goal against Keller in the Czech/US game were also great shots. There have been many great goals during the WC.

PrtyPSux 0
Best of:Timely: MaxiMost difficult: ColeNo way man, Maxis was the best AND most difficult by far...Cole´s was great but Maxi´s was just SICK. I was in the stands on that side of the field where the goal took place, NO ONE even thought he´d even try to shoot there in that spot. I bet if he tries that same shot 50 times he wont make it again, thats how difficult it was, its like getting one outered . I thought Mexico played awesome and it looked like it was going to end in PK´s. I hadnt cried since last time mexico got knocked out of the WC .
DonkSlayer 1
Sorry bud, I disagree. Cole's was across the goal from further away...he had to hit it with the outside of his foot. Maxi's was amazing, don't get me wrong, but the curve was natural from the angle, and I disagree that he couldn't make it again, it was probably easier than it looked (although I couldn't have done it.)
