Hello,Looking for a bit of feedback on this hand.PokerStars Game #1350508669: Hold'em Limit ($0.02/$0.04) - 2005/03/13 - 15:39:12 (ET)Table 'Jutta' Seat #7 is the buttonSeat 1: Myranim ($1.18 in chips) Seat 2: medicr ($0.36 in chips) Seat 3: Tony4Finger$ ($0.52 in chips) Seat 4: weenydog ($1.24 in chips) Seat 5: anaconapuna ($0.40 in chips) Seat 6: golfshot ($1.53 in chips) Seat 7: combovan ($0.14 in chips) Seat 8: webclout ($0.94 in chips) Seat 9: Vandji ($0.56 in chips) Seat 10: SoCalJim ($5.14 in chips) webclout: posts small blind $0.01Vandji: posts big blind $0.02anaconapuna: posts big blind $0.02*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to Myranim [Kd Kh]SoCalJim: calls $0.02Myranim: raises $0.02 to $0.04medicr: folds Tony4Finger$: folds weenydog: folds anaconapuna: calls $0.02golfshot: folds combovan: folds webclout: raises $0.02 to $0.06Vandji: folds SoCalJim: folds Myranim: raises $0.02 to $0.08Betting is cappedanaconapuna: calls $0.04webclout: calls $0.02Okay, so I get Kings and raise it. webclout 3-bets and I obviously cap. I have no prior read on him (and perhaps because of it give him too much credit that he knows what he's doing), so at this point I presume he has queens, (Unlikely) kings, aces, or AK.*** FLOP *** [8s 9d 7h]webclout: bets $0.02Myranim: raises $0.02 to $0.04anaconapuna: calls $0.04webclout: raises $0.02 to $0.06Myranim: raises $0.02 to $0.08Betting is cappedanaconapuna: calls $0.04webclout: calls $0.02That's a scary flop, to be sure, but I don't think webclout bets (and 3-bets) AK at this point, nor would he have 10J or 65. Nor does he have any of those (7s, 8s, 9s) pocket pairs. So it's down to queens or aces.*** TURN *** [8s 9d 7h] [Ad]webclout: checks Myranim: bets $0.04anaconapuna: calls $0.04webclout: raises $0.04 to $0.08Myranim: calls $0.04anaconapuna: calls $0.04And the checkraise (If he's checkraising into that board, he's either got balls of steel or is just terrible) when the ace hits seals it for me: He's got aces. At this point, though, I'm pretty sure I just have to sigh and pay it off.*** RIVER *** [8s 9d 7h Ad] [6h]webclout: bets $0.04Myranim: calls $0.04anaconapuna: foldsWhich, for one more bet, I do. I have no idea what the other person folded at this point...jacks? JQ? Back door diamond draw of some kind? *** SHOW DOWN ***webclout: shows [As Ah] (three of a kind, Aces)Myranim: mucks hand webclout collected $0.84 from potHey, what do you know, I'm right. So my question is mainly this: Was there a point (Specifically, the point I determined beyond a shadow of a doubt that he had the set of aces) where I should have laid this down? Or did I play it "correctly" according to the math?

If you are convinced it's either Aces or Queens, then you played it right.I'm a bit curious why you were convinced it wasn't a set of 9's or 8's on the flop?

Well, the simple answer is that I don't consider 8s or 9s to be three-betting hands (Maybe I'm wrong here). Again, perhaps I'm giving my opponent too much credit in thinking that way.Woo, of to a concert.

eights and nines are threebetting hands when you want to isolate an opponent

Really? Interesting, I'll keep that in mind. Here's another question: Should I have been worried at all about whatever anaconapuna was holding? They did nothing but call down until the river, where they let go of whatever it was they were chasing (I still guess Jack-something, but of course I'll never know now), and I was so concerned with what webclout had (And it turned out to not matter what anaconapuna was holding once I figure out I was beat) that I just forgot about anaconapuna in a sense. Was this dangerous at all?
