gobears 0
If I was hero, I would fold. If you fold, you still have 6,100 with a nice lead.BB hasn't played too many hands so I would guess that we're racing or behind. I also get information by folding since I'll get to see what BB had. Actuary 3
you're geting like 1.7 : 1 and ITM if you win with almost guaranteed 1st place. If you lose, likely BB beats the pusher, and you two are ready to pounce on EP.just chum

Dry side pot, and you let two of the shorter stacks go at it. Worst case sceniro, you are left with 6100, and your opponents are all still much below you.
Actuary 3
I thought a dry side pot was one with no money in it?Or, is it still considered dry, unless called?********************Part 2, as all seem to like a SB fold here.BB had AA. You like the push ? ( is that a squeeze play? or does BB need more trashy hands to qulify as a "move")

You like the push ? ( is that a squeeze play? or does BB need more trashy hands to qulify as a "move")Yeah...I'd push here with AA - I don't care if I get called or not....I could try to get cute and raise it to 1800ish, for more than half my stack, but I'm figuring if he's gonna call another 1200 he'll call the push.Last thing I want to do is call and then check down to the river...the only way a flop bet by me is getting called is if I'm beat or if I'm lucking enough for my opponent to flop tptk, so I'm, in most cases, either not getting any more money (and just giving someone a free chance to beat me) or I'm going broke. It's not a squeeze play because you don't have any other players left to act after you to influence your play....he's doing this with a legitimate hand...your best-case scenario is a race...if he did this with AJ that would qualify as a "move". Actuary 3
I thought BB was sqeezing SB who calls with less than spectacular hands here against a likely deperate Button push. I only read that section once though.
blakheart 3
I like the push with AA here. The last thing the BB wants to see is a hand checked down and he doesn't get paid. Plus it almost looks supsicious, so it may get a call by hero with Aq, or KK or QQ. Worth a shot.Easy fold for Hero I think. No reason to get silly with that big lead. gobears 0
I thought BB was sqeezing SB who calls with less than spectacular hands here against a likely deperate Button push. I only read that section once though. Two types of squeeze plays - one against a bunch of limpers; the other against a raiser and then a caller. In both cases, you are putting pressure on the first player to act after you since he not only has to worry about you but the player to act behind him (he is "squeezed" between two players. The second player is not technically squeezed but generally has a weaker hand since he only called after the initial limp/raise and is more apt to fold.BB can't squeeze you but he can judget that since you only called the push, your hand is not that great. BB actually had a great hand in this situation and didn't want to give you a free flop since this is a cooperation situation after the flop and you would likely fold if the flop missed you and he bet postflop.
