crazyIvan 0
In a loose SnG, holding Kx suited on the button with 2 or 3 limpers, is there a lower bound on x that you won't limp with?

Mashchit 0
Anybody who says they wouldn't limp with K3 is a liar.I wouldn't limp with the krablar and I'm not a liar. Suited K - probably KT for me, but I'd limp with any suited ace.
phillsievers 0
I dont limp KA because i raise it. I fold everything except KQs but the situation has to feel very right.Limping everything else is a loosing play.
Rocketwadster 0
Anybody who says they wouldn't limp with K3 is a liar.I disagree - most of the donkeys would probably raise with it here, not limp, hence, when they say they wouldn't limp, they aren't lying. B)

crazyIvan 0
So the play (for most people) is to stay with 9 and above which gives both straight and flush possibilities. I guess the next question really has not simple answer, which is how do you play that post flop on a K10x rainbow flop.

I guess the next question really has not simple answer, which is how do you play that post flop on a K10x rainbow flop. With top pair, ok to junky kicker, you want to play a small pot. I would play smallball here especially since you have position. If someone bets into you, depending on X and the size of the bet, I will either call or fold - if they fire again on the turn, I'm gone. If no one bets the flop, lead with a small bet since you're likely good. If someone calls, I'd likely fire another small bet on the turn or just check it down. You don't want to make the pot big enough where someone gets the great idea to jam on a draw or bluff and you'll have to fold. You are drawing.I think small pots should be played with such a marginal hand, but shouldn't you occasionally, with similar hands, make it seem to your opponent that you are willing to play a big pot? This is IMO one of those situations you have to use all your knowledge of an opponent to your advantage, as well as position in the tourney, bubble?, and other useful information.Comments? If you play it like that everytime against the same opponents then that would not be wise. It's perfectly fine to mix it up - you can play your weak hands stronger and your strong hands weaker - deception is a major part of poker. Also the points you mention about all the other factors at the table need to be considered.Simple is better though in many cases which says to keep the pots small when you have a vulnerable hand.
