Playing In The Small Blind

Here's something that I have trouble with. In Sit & Go's, when you're in the small blind and your stack is getting smaller, when should you call and fold with marginal hands? For example:With blinds of $50/$100, you have a stack of about $1,220. You're in the small blind, two players limp, making the pot $350, and it's $50 to you. You have 10 2 . Is this worth a call? Or do you just throw it away? Sometimes I'll call because of the good pot odds, flop a marginal hand and end up getting into trouble and losing a good portion of my stack. I'm leaning towards letting them go because I need to wait for better spots when my chips are getting low and being out of position with a weak hand is a recipe for disaster.But, what hands do you think warrant calls? Suited connectors? Small pairs?

My blind play probably needs the most work of any other part. Generally I lean toward playing them way too conservatively. When I'm getting short I hate losing chips calling with trash hands, even if I'm 50% in. I fold and wait to be able to put in raises to take control of the hand. Hands that I will complete with are 78, 89, 810, 910+, 109+, J9+, Q9+, K9+, A8+. (I realize some of these hands are repetitive, but I didn't want you thinking I would call with Q2 because I wrote 910+). I might limp with 22-66 but you are close to pushing with those. I'm pushing with 77+.
