137 left in MTT, 100 payblinds are 200/400stacksMe-14500UTG-15000CO-4600Average, 6000Im dealt QQ my first hand at the new table, so no readsUTG limps, folds to me, I raise to 1600, CO pushes for 4600, UTG calls, Hero...?I really didnt think AA/KK were possible, cause if he was setting a trap, why not pounce on it now? right?JJ-99 made sense to me, but so did AKI feel like AK will call, but I dont wanna be in a race against a player with as big of stack as mine. But if he has JJ-99, I dont wanna just and let him play for a set cause unless the board is unders he wont put a penny in considering he's playing for only a side pot

Personally, I would rule out AK..I don't see many players limping w/ it utg...Therefore I think 77-10s, AJ-AQ are of the range I'm putting him on here, but it also makes it tough w/ no reads at all...I would think at this point if he has KK or AA, he would go ahead and jam it instead of calling...What is your plan for the flop if you just call? If an A or K comes and he bets, your folding? EeekkkIf the flop is J 10 X, what now? EeekkkIf you push, how much fold equity do you think you have? I'm not sure if he folds after putting in about 1/3 of his stack, but w/ the range we have him on, I think its defintely a +EV play...I push this spot most of the time.. Good luck

what in the world would UTG do this with?He hasn't the odds for a set. (doubt he has 66-JJ anymore)He has to expect you to at least call.Makes me think AA, gambling that you will push it for him, or he will risk letting you out flop him. Calling is the worst option, worse than folding.I fold out of suspicion

A smart player folds AK to your push...and also folds JJ-99. And I don't see a smart player playing AK utg this way.And there's no way on earth you can rule out AA or KK.An AA could call here hoping for an overcall or a push from you.A KK could call here for the same, and also give themselves the chance to get away from an ace on the flop.I fold.

I'm assuming you mean 200-400? Or that you all have another "0" in your stacks. What is the buyin? Do you have any read on UTG? It's a tough spot but I lean towards pushing without any reads, especially if this buyin is $30 or lower.

I finally put villian on AK considering ive seen this play done with AK lot as well. After the hand I realized just calling would be smarter so I could push if he missed.I pushed, UTG calledUTG had KK, short-stack had AJthe board was AxxxK, so calling would saved me my last 8k considering im folding when he hits the K and pushes himself
