Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
9 players
Converter

I have $50

MP2 has $100

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP3 with J icon_suit_diamond.gif J icon_suit_heart.gif
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero raises to $2, 4 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: K icon_suit_diamond.gif T icon_suit_club.gif Q icon_suit_diamond.gif ($6.75, 3 players)
MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets $4, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.

Turn: 9 icon_suit_diamond.gif ($14.75, 2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $8, MP2 calls.

River: T icon_suit_heart.gif ($30.75, 2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero...?

Does it have a positive expectation value to bet the river? How much do we bet if so? What do we think of the rest of the hand?

raise more pre with the 2 limpers.

I'd check behind on river.

I check behind here. I don't see any hands besides QK or AK calling that you have beat, both of those hands I think are unlikely.

get more money in on that turn...

he doesnt have a boat, but I don't know how often "math wise" we'll be getting called here and all the other crap we do to figure the value of betting.

I bet or check here more based on feel, but that's just me.

Well he can't have a boat on the turn but he can have a flush. The turn bet is not horrible although I would probably make it $11 or $12 and checking behind on the river is fine without any reads or tendencies.
Give me a paper and pen so I can write about my life of sin. A couple bottles of gin in case I don't get in.

We have to check behind. I don't bet more on this turn though. I think the range of hands that our villain will have, given the preflop, flop and turn calls, does not bode well for us. Except for two pair or a set (which maybe we're getting raised on the flop for unless our villain is weak-tight?), AJ and flush beat us, and we just split with any J hand.
Fortune favors the brave.

Could bet anywhere from 8-15 on the river. But I dont do it all the time. And you should bet, with no intention of folding to a raise. If you would fold to a raise, then its better to check, no?

I'm checking behind although with the way the hand developed I would put him on AdX. With 4 to a straight on the board the flush draw he picked up may be the only thing keeping him in the pot at the turn.

IMO if you don't know what to do if he reraises than you are better off checking behind.
