Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is Button with Ad, Kd. 2 folds, MP2 calls.Flop: (7 SB) 3c, Qd, 4d (4 players)SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, MP2 folds.Betting overcards with outs to the nuts.Turn: (4.50 BB) 6s (3 players)SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.Still betting, I think this is an obvious bet.River: (6.50 BB) 8c (3 players)SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.I really thought I could get a fold here and I did, but is this the right play?Final Pot: 7.50 BB

I'm checking the river...you're only going to get a better hand to call you.

He called the flop and turn, he's not folding for one more bet...not enough to make it correct, anyway.

But I think betting this river makes him fold 4-5 suited, 5-6 suited, etc. No?Yeah maybe. For it to be a correct bluff, though, you have to be folding a *better* hand that yours 1 time in 6. I'm not sure that's happening that frequently here.I think you probably fold a hand you beat anyway a lot, and obviously Qx is calling.
