PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6 icon_suit_diamond.gif , 6 icon_suit_heart.gif .
1 fold, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero checks.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 5 icon_suit_diamond.gif , T icon_suit_diamond.gif , 5 icon_suit_club.gif (4 players)
Hero bets, MP folds, CO folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 9 icon_suit_spade.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (7.25 BB) 8 icon_suit_diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero checks...

Final Pot: 7.25 BB

When I look back, so I beat enough to make this play on the flop? I'd been getting pushed around a bit it seemed to me, getting 3-bet a bit, and missing the flops, etc, and having to b/f, or c/f a lot.

Any thoughts?

I just let this go on the flop. You are basically hoping that button either has a flush draw, a lower pp, or a bluff. I don't think that will be the case often enough to continue here.

It's pretty close though. If I did decide to continue, I would just call the flop, check/call the turn, and check/call a non-diamond river. Here, I think you have to give it up on the river.
