usernametaken 0
Recently I have been spending a majority of time playing online poker, which is something I dont normally do. Whats up with all the suck outs. I see so many 2 outers its sick. Im assuming it has to do with seeing more hands, but I sure do see a lot of big hands against each other on cash games(ex. KK or AK vs. AA) way too much. I guess its something you have to get used to but sometimes it doesnt seem like real poker, in most mtts the blinds go up so rapidly that it becomes a luck game rather than skill. Im amazed online poker is this big.

brabz 0
The obvious answer is that because it's a piece of software doing the dealing, you see far more hands per hour than you would live. That, coupled with the huge 'anywhere' audience of online players, and you're bound to run into a lot of bad play that occasionally gets paid off. Not to beat a dead horse though, but as a regular limit player in AC, you do see a lot of ludicrous plays where players get lucky and suck out. Bottom line, you get a lot of players who don't see poker the same as more serious minded players, and think of it as good bang for buck gambling and nothing more. Long-term you win, but there's always bad beats and bad players.
