I don't have anything to do with bodog so this is just a review from a player perspective, no advertisement.Anyway, I made a deposit there. The software is nice. Sleek fast and also lets you upload an avatar image which is an extra little bonus. The deposit bonus is 10% up to 100 this however is bottomless reloadable. There's a point system which lets you accumulate points to use to enter tournaments. They say that you need to get 6 points per dollar in bonus to release it. I'm not sure how you get the points I assume it's based on raked hands but I've only been there for a day and I have about 300 (need 600 to clear the $100 on my $1000 deposit). I don't "bonus whore" but if you make a withdrawal before the bonus is cleared (even though it's not you don't withdraw everything) the bonus will be cancelled. The players are very fishy for the stakes I've been playing, 1/2 NL 2/4 and 3/6 FL. No one seems to buy in for the maximum amount. Probably people coming from the sportsbook and what you see is what you get, their whole "bankrolls" (if you could call it that) at the table.Be aware of what NL tables you select though. There are two types of fishies there, the high raisers and the weak raisers. Try to avoid more than 1 high raiser. Weak raisers will sort of bet 1x or 2x as their stacks are fairly small. Typically you can just run over most of them. If they do call reraises they normally have a top pair with a weak kicker. (weak passive)Great thing is that , as a member there's a promotion right now, you get a free subscription of Cardplayer magazine (up to $99 in value). I don't even believe you need to make a deposit. If you do make a deposit (min $20) you can also sign up for a free 2005 bodog girls calendar which is a small bonus to most of us :)All in all I rate this a good site, only downside is the lack of rakeback which is important to some who don't play the lowest limits. I did have one problem logging in today when their authentication server went down for a while but it came backup and doesn't seem to happen frequently.Ask me for my ref number if you want I'm not going to type it here. Won't have any effect on your account. If you're going to register, can be bothered and haven't been referred by someone else that is. no big deal. I'm new to the forum as of today, post on Internet texas holdem and I'm a member at Pokerschoolonline so hi everyone.
