If u found this hand in utg1-3 in a cash game, I would suggest passing, drawing hands up front suck...better off to play big paired hands up front, leaving draws for when u have position.

I don't know if a minimum raise would steal anything in PLO. I'd just limp with this hand upfront.

I doubt that the advice on this forum carries much wait in the 50/100 game. The guy who makes this play is probably raising a fair number of hands and wants to mix up his play, sometimes having high cards, sometimes middle, sometimes low to make it harder to put him on anything.Also I can imagine a situation in an aggressive game where making a min-raise like this might sometimes be a cheaper way to see a flop than limping and having a late position player pot it. Now people behind you will be scared to reraise without a premium hand, and if they do raise you can let this one go since it's not a very good hand against someone with a pair of aces or kings.
