Redick was arrested early Tuesday morning for driving while impaired, according to a report on a Durham television station's website.The WTVD website cited the police report, which said the arrest occurred at 1:03 a.m. and indicated Redick made an illegal U-turn in an attempt to avoid a license checkpoint.Redick bonded out of the Durham County Jail around 4 a.m. on a $1,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court in Durham on July 17.Redick is coming off a senior season that saw him win or share almost all of the major Player of the Year awards. Reddick likely has no record and he like any other individual in this country is highly, highly unlikely to serve anytime for his first DWI. Now why someone like Reddick feels the need to drive is beyond me, considering the fact that he could very easily pay for a cab or have a groupie drive him home while jerking him off.
