2nd Nut Flush...value Bet River?

Just callin the river would be a mistake. he has to have the axs to beat u and with him being loose i expect him to not have more often then he has it

I think you played it just fine.Some may argue to jam the turn when he gave you the chance, I say you played it very well. Consistancy is the key to keep your opponent guessing in future hands.

given your opponent and the way you played the hand i think raising the river is ok. but against this guy i would push the river rather than raising the amount you did. the reason is that if he push reraises, you really cannot fold getting better than 5-1, so stacking him when he calls (and it sounds like he would) with a lower flush would make up for the times he stacks you with Ax and provide better long-run value. since you described him as being somewhat passive, sometimes you may only get a call on a smaller river raise, whereas he is jamming with Ax every time.as far as flop/turn, i think you played it great.
