Scott3705 0
Posting maybe three or four hands from session this weekend. I "took down" a live tourney for a little under 8k this weekend, so i decide to **** around at a 5/10 table the next day instead of playing 2/5. As a general, background for all hands, the tables went through spurts of being over aggressive, then passive, then over aggressive, then passive. Almost as if people were getting winded. Two limps to me in CO w/ A k I raise to $60 BB calls and Limper in MP3 calls.Flop ($200)10 2 5 Checks to me, I bet $150, BB folds, MP3 raises to $350, I call.I called here for the following: He's got 4 types of hands here. (he was very laggy and not very good at it IMO. He never really raised preflop w/ the types of hands I think you need to to play LAG well. But he was always trying to push people around postflop.)1. Flush draw2. Set3. 109 (putting me on two big cards and trying to take the pot down)4. airMost likely by that orderI'm ahead of most of these but the reward for being right was much smaller than the downside for beign wrong. I figure a call will slow him up w/ 3+4 and I can evaluate more on the turn between 1 + 2.Turn ($900)q MP3 leads for $400, I push for about $1200 more to put him all in. (My opinion was this weakish bet was a draw)
fckthis 0
Question?
Scott3705 0
Question?Just general thoughts. I think everybody here would like to see hands above 1/2 posted here and since I got a quick influx of cash to play around w/ it, it's only right that I post some hands. I think I played this hand well, but also realize that if I saw some one post this hand I would tear him apart probably.
fckthis 0
Well my thoughts on your play were intially, decent bluff, but it doesnt look like a play that would make you money in the long run. After looking at it further, his c/r seems too suspicious. Its a play I might use if I feel you have two overs and whiffed. I'm too much of a wimp to actually call his c/r on the flop. But even if you did fold, you give him the illusion that you can be pushed around, thus setting him up for a later conforntation.

It's a very bad bluff if I think he's ahead an has outs to a flush.
Jordan 1
this just feels like a tourney hand in so many ways.I'd hope, in a cash game, he's calling you with a wide variety of hands that have you beat...it would be sick if he has KcJc and calls and blanks river. That's an ideal situation at this point.either way, very ballsy.- Jordan

TheCorporation3 0
Result:It was pretty sick. The call on the flop also wasn't so bad because you did have the Ace of clubs redraw. But anyway, so what was the sick result?
MasterLJ 0
Holy crap man, good read.I'd be done on the flop c/r, but it seems you read him like a book and got unlucky.

But anyway, so what was the sick result?Does the lack of response all around mean you're sorry for calling me out?I personally thought it was sick for both of us to get 'em all in w/ such marginal hands at the turn considering we were moderately deep stacked. Probably sicker in my mind too because his call took 6-8minutes if I remember right.
