Here's the rules, you can pick only five, they have to have come out in your teenage years, meaning 13-19. Doesn't matter if they came out earlier and you watched 'em over and over again in your teenage years.
I was born in 1980 so my movies came out from 93-99.
1) Happy Gilmore
2) Tommy Boy
3) Dumb and Dumber
4) Office Space
5) Billy Madison
Thoughts?

Lord of the Rings
Gladiator
Austin Powers
Saving Private Ryan
I don't how they define my teenage life but these are some of the movies that were big during my high school days.

well i'l start from the beginning cuz i know you all wanna know.
1st it starts off in the 80's. i was a young lad, and can remember in detail
- Flight of the Navigator.
Then, i remember
- The Goonies and Adventures in baby sitting.
But the string of quality movies would end my friends. as the next solid memory was
- Friday the 13th part 1 - 5.
dear god what was wrong with my parents, or society in general during this era.
so after not sleeping from age 6 to 10, i then recall
- The wizard, which molded my life into existance. "Ninja Gaiden"
That then brings me back in time to a few classics that i didnt get to watch in theatres at a young age, but grew to love like
- back to the future I, II and III
- teen wolf
- cocktails
- top gun
- star wars
and many more...
perhaps the turning point into my future was that i can remember actually enjoying
Bill and Teds, excellent adventures, as well as bogus journey
as puberty rounded the corner, i found myself to enjoy many new comedies.
The use of illegal drugs at a young age sparked this(back to the stupidity of bill and ted's), with great comedies following the Adam sandler cassette tapes, as in
airheads,
billy maddison, etc..
Old school paved the way to a strong adult hood, as did american pie. (which i still think was the funniest movie i ever saw in theatres)
good luck, and god speed

Such great memories, that movie was remarkable. I suspect it is the main reason why I am now a grad student studying physics.
For some reason this movie and D.A.R.Y.L. are seared together in my memory. I don't remember it well, but I suspect I really liked it.

Indiana Jones
Back to the Future
The Goonies
Stand by Me
The Princess Bride
Funny Farm
Mystery Date
Dream Machine
The Last Starfighter
and....
Pump up the Volume.
Out of all these movies I only saw Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in the theatre, and I was probably like 13 or 14 when that came out.

It doesn't matter who you start because you have a horse shoe up your ass so far I'm not really sure how you get through the day. You must be gay.

That was my absolute favorite movie when I was a kid.
Hitler was not motivated by hate.
Gervais: What do you worry about, that you've heard on the news?
Pilkington: I heard something about worms getting teeth.

of the righteous man is beset on
all sides by the inequities of the
selfish and the tyranny of evil
men. Blessed is he who, in the
name of charity and good will,
shepherds the weak through the
valley of darkness, for he is truly
his brother's keeper and the finder
of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
